Hoverbox by NAICE Architecture & Design

I am excited to share a few images I captured of ‘Hoverbox’ by NAICE Architecture & Design.

I was commissioned by the Berlin based architecture firm, to capture images of their award winning project that showcased its unique location alongside the Red River Mutual (skating) Trail at the intersection of the frozen Assiniboine and Red Rivers in Winnipeg, Canada. In addition to images showing the project’s unique sense of place we captured images showing the public interacting with the structure as they walked and skated by and took an opportunity to explore the interior labyrinth.

Although these images were captured on a very cold weekend (-35C), it was a lot of fun talking to the public about the project and watching them interact with the installation.

Hoverbox was one of the 2019 Warming Huts international competition winning entries.
